These terms govern your use of this website and, where applicable, the supply of goods by Showq Ship Chandlers L.L.C., a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
1. Use of this website
You may browse this site and submit enquiries for legitimate commercial purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, interfere with its operation, or extract data by automated means without our written consent.
2. Product information
Product descriptions, IMPA numbers, specifications and images are provided for identification and guidance. Manufacturers change specifications from time to time, and images may show a representative item rather than the exact variant supplied. Nothing on this website constitutes a warranty as to fitness for a particular purpose. Where the exact specification matters, please confirm it with us in writing before ordering.
3. Quotations and orders
- Submitting a quote request does not create a contract. It is an invitation for us to quote.
- Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation and are subject to stock availability at the time of order confirmation.
- A binding contract arises only when we accept your purchase order in writing.
- Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT and any duties unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith. We are not liable for delays caused by port operations, customs, weather, vessel schedule changes or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk in the goods passes on delivery to the vessel or to your nominated agent.
5. Inspection and claims
Goods must be inspected on receipt. Claims for shortage, damage or incorrect supply must be notified in writing within seven (7) days of delivery, with supporting evidence, so that we can investigate with the carrier or manufacturer.
6. Payment
Payment terms are as stated on our invoice. We reserve the right to suspend further supply where an account is overdue. Title in the goods remains with us until payment has been received in full.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in respect of any order is limited to the invoice value of the goods supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, hire, charter or vessel downtime.
8. Intellectual property
The content, layout and design of this website, including the Showq Ship Chandlers name and logo, are our property or that of our licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission. Third-party brand names and IMPA codes are used for identification only.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
